Village of Slocan gets $265 500 for Wildland Interface Work

Over the last 12 months SIFCo has worked with the Village of Slocan to secure funding to treat areas of high risk and consequences if a wildfire were to occur. Today we heard that the application to treat 35 hectares of land on the east side of the Vilage was approved by UBCM.
