SILVERTON NORTH PROJECT COMPLETED

Our Silverton North Project is now complete!

This was the second phase of our WUI protection plan for the village of Silverton making it one of the most protected rural villages in BC.

SIFCo worked with the Village of Silverton to secure funding to treat areas of high risk and consequences if a wildfire were to occur.

First we saw the completion of our project in the south which took a total of 15 months and an investment of$400,000. In this phase 47.5 hectares of land were treated.

Phase two saw the treatment of 36 hectares of land. This application was approved by the UBCM and is now officially complete.

The total investment of both phases was $795000.
