GARY PARKSTROM
Gary is SIFCo's Vice President and RMRA representative. He has lived in the Slocan Valley since 2006.
Gary has worked in education teaching geography and social studies with a focus on sutainability and local economic health.
​
He has studied stream morphology including the impacts of logging and large scale avalanches on streams.
​
Gary developed an interest in eco forestry during a workshop with Merv Wilkinson on Vancouver Island.
​
In his spare time he enjoys Hiking, Ski touring, Cycling, Paddling and walks in the forest with his dogs.
​
