SIFCo RECIEVES $300,000 FROM FESBC

SIFCo has received $300,000 from FESBC in order to fund the following projects:

- $100,000 will go towards the prescribed burns we have planned for the Winlaw area (spring 2021) and the Trozzo Creek area (Spring 2022), both of which are Type 4 treatments.

- The Henderson Watershed project, which is a revitalization and wildfire mitigation project to be carried out in an inherited clear cut from the 1980s.

- A type 5 maintenance project around Slocan Village for all of the areas we have treated over the last 12 years.
