RENOVATIONS COMPLETED AT THE APPLEDALE HALL

We have successfully completed the Appledale Hall renovations as part of the SIFCo Resiliency Centre project.

A list of the upgrades completed includes:

• A back up propane generator

• HVAC air filtration system for the entire building

• A stair lift down to the lower hall

• A new roof, soffits and facias

• New gable ends

• New exterior doors

• Replacement of wheelchair ramp and exterior doors

• Painted exterior walls of the building

• Upgraded all interior lights to built in LEDs

• Painted all interior walls

We now have a space within our community that is equipped with much of the necessary systems to aid our community in times of need such as a local wildfire, prolonged power outages, poor air quality and severe heatwaves.

We are excited to see this space revived and reivigorated and hope to see it used frequently by our local communkty for social, recreational and knowledge sharing events.
