VILLAGE OF SILVERTON GETS $395,000 FOR WUI

Over the last year, SIFCo has worked with the Village of Silverton to secure funding to treat areas of high risk and consequences if a wildfire were to occur. Today we heard that the application to treat 36 hectares of land on the east and north side of the Vilage was approved by UBCM. This will be phase two of our protection plan for the village.
