BC WILDFIRE SERVICE - WILDFIRE PUMPS STOLEN UP PONDEROSA FSR

Two days before SIFCo and BC Wildfire Service carried out the Ponderosa Prescribed burn, five BC Wildfire Service pumps were stolen. They were Locked up and you had to cross a creek to get to them.

These pumps are used during wildfire season to protect communities from wildfire. When the fire was burning next to the Harrop Procter community in 2017 BC Wildfire Service ran out of pumps.
