Harvesting to begin up Ponderosa FSR

A 17-hectare harvesting project is set to begin up the Ponderosa FSR starting mid-November 2012. 800 meters of new road construction will be part of this project and deactivation of the new road will happen immediately following completion of silviculture requirements. Ponserosa FSR has been poorly maintained, drainage control will be put in place following harvest activities in the spring of 2013. Road will be re-opened for recreation in mid-June 2013.
